Thursday, August Ist. (Before Major Keddell, S.M.) SUPPLYING LIQUOR TO A PROHIBITED PERSON. A young woman was charged with the above offence, and pleaded guilty. The prohibited person had asked her to procure the liquor for a sick child, and on this account her mother had directed her to go. Mr Hamilton appeared for the defence.
