In our issue of 25tb, July, reporting a special meeting held at Waimate in regard to the inclusion, of the Upper part of Waimate County In the Levels County, we Credited Mr Lyall with saying that he " was strongly opposed to inclusion,” whereas the reverse should have been the case. Mr Lyall said he was indifferent one Way or the other,. and desires that his true attitude on tbe question should be made known.
