The Russell Bigamy Case.
London, Ja'y 38. The trial of Earl Russell for bigamy waa a groat fund ion. It was held in thb Royal Gallery at Westminster. The Lo-ds appeared in their robes, with II judges. The absentees included the foremost members of the Government and Opposition bishops. He pleaded guilty, and stated that he had consulted the best lawyers in Ameri « in regard to the validity of his action. He was sentenc’d to three months’ imprisonment, to be treated a first-o'&ss misdemeanant.
