The doors have been re*huhg*BO aa to open outwards, so that in the remote chance of panic from finalarm or other cause there can be no block in the doorways, The rails which fenced in.the side of the platform have been removed, practically effecting an enlargement by. taking in » seat on each side. The old-fashioned lustres, carrying a dozen or so of*mall lamps, have been replaced by five bandsome Bodhester lamps; meeting a great improvement ia- the lighting of ,the building. The manner in which the, work haf been carried out reflects greal credit on the contractor, Mi Kennedy of Qanurai -
