The State Assembly continued tfatf discussion on the republicatioft from the “Irish People” by the newspaper Toftain, published by Mr Findley, a Labour member for Melbourne, of a libel on the King. The Premier, in moving that Mf Findley was guilty of disloyalty and that be should be expelled frcm th« House, said the Government accepted all responsibility for its action in the nrtttef, which was endorsed by Mr Chamber' lain.

Afier the Premier'® IKotfoO, ibe speaker asked Mr Findley to withdraw. Mr Findley again asrerted thfttho had do sympathy with the article,neither hod the editor oflToe*in. Mr Ward mot d fid amendment that Mr Findley should be suspended lor the remainder of the session.
