WHY MARY ISN'T MARRIED.
' A little boy found-a poor half-frestenr wasp iu the garden and brought it indoors, and placed it upon an easy chair before the parlour fire to* thaw* out.
Surely the angel's must;' have looked down approvingly on such an act ofkindness.
When sister Mary’s young man called l that evening, he glanced at the chair* •asuaHy, and, seating himself in it, •nnrmured ; ‘Ah,.bless her heart|ihowboughtful she is of my comfort;’
* Two minutes later there was-'as much*' imise and trouble in-that parlour as if itbad been turned into a den of demons.The wasp had thawed out ; that is whyr Mary isn’t married yet.
