y The C.F C.A. - , Lim'ted (Mr Murcl< 11 and Mi- Jones, auctioneers), conducted a most mccessful sale of horses at Studholme ealeyarda on Thursday. An exc- lleut entry of n-ally useful farm horses came forward, and the majority being young, sound and era nently good sorts, found ready sale. EigUty-four horses w ere yarded, and ttie atictroneers- report ’that more than half the entry changed hands at prices which were considered thoroughly satisfactory to the ven ters. For the young and better sorts £3O, £3l, £3llos. £33, £33 10s to £45 was paid; uubr. ken cits and fillies, to £2R. For a really handsome pair by Hard Times, a colt and a filly, on account of Mr Alex. Rat tray, £SO 10a was bid for the forim-r, and L 47 10s for the latter, but they wers withdrawn 7 Hacks- and harness horses •nade good values, tip to L2O. A doublefurrow plough brought Ll 6 10s; drill L 10; harrows LI 10s. .
