ADDIS CiTON STOCK MAP.KET. [By TKiitsouAPii.] Ciiuistcitrcij, May 29. There was a moderate entry of stock in -tho yards and a large attendance, including a number of visitors; from a distance, who came in for the Winter Show. The following are quotations : She3]i —Ihere were only 1139 si ore sheep on oU'ur. of which three lines were sold, there being no damand. A line of 99 forward crossbred wethers made IGs Id, and 276 sold at 15s lOd. A few iambs changed hands at 10s. Fat Lambs—Tho fat lamb pens were filled with an entry of 2200, the bulk of which wero good to prim. 3 freezers, and the better class again sold very well. An extra heavy pou brought 16s ; freezers, 12s *6d to 14s 9d; light and unfinished lots, 10s to 12s. There was a medium entry of fat shoep, nearly all being cross-bred ewes, with a few pens of good wethers. Cattle—There were 221 head of I fat cattle on olTer, of fair average' quality. The sale opened very dull, but improved later on, and prices were a shade tinner than last week. A line of 21 steers from Fernehurst Station made £6 17s 6d to £9 17s Gd : oilier steers, £(i to £9 12s 6d ; hciters, £5 to £H 7* 6d ; cows, £4 17s 0.1 to £8 10s, equal to 17s 6d t.o 21s Gd per 100ib, according to quality,. Pigs —There was an average entry of pigs, and they sold very much on a par wiuh last week's rates, baconera making 32s 6d to 48s Gd, equal to to 3-kl por lb; porkers, 21s to 325, equal to 3£-d per lb ; stores, lis Gd to 19s ; suckers and weanera, 4s Gd to 10s.
