Acting Premier Rutledge is much annoyed at the alterations with regard to the visit, and says that though it wis known through the newspapers that the Admiral made certain suggestions and that the Sydney authorities were informed of the changes, no comniunica* tion was made to the Brisbane authorities till everything had been fixed up. He considers they ought to have been consulted, as they were in the best position to throw some light on matters generally, especially seeing that arrange* ments had so far advanced, and were so materially affected by the changes.
