EDITING A PAPER.
Editing a paper is a nice business. I If we publish jokes people say we w rattle headed. I If we omit jokes, people say we are « old fossil. If we publish original matter, tbs blame us for not giving selections. If we publish selections, folks say v are lazy for not writing something tb have not read in some other paper. If we give a man a compliments! notice, we are censured for being part a If we do not give compliments notices, folks say we are a hog. If we do not cater for the wishes of t! ladies the paper is net fit to tie up parcc-1. If we remain in our office, and do o business folk say we are too proud mingle with other fellows. If we go out they say we never atie to our business. If we do not pay our bills prompt folks say we are not to be trusted. If sre do pay promptly they say we sti the moneyIf we wear poor clothes, folks business is bad. If we wear good clothes, they say 1 paid for them. Now what are we to do ?
