A weU attended meeting of .Wairaite business people was held last evening iu the Oddfellows' Hall to consider the qaesdon of forming a- Busin'ess'Asso-. oiation. Draft rules Were submitted and read, and a committee apj3puitad ; to go through them nnd report to a future meeting.- Mr,'J. s£aac(hbster. was appointed chairman and Mr W. L. ScoH secretary pro tern. Before the meeting it was decided to send a letter to Mr "W. B, Evans, expressing the sympathy of the business people iu the sad loss of his wife. •■•
