COMPLETE BREAKUP. SPHCIAL TO THS " ADVERTISES." [■? •...The .yacht Ariadne, disposed of on Friday to. Mr John Mill, of Port Chalmers, for £215, broke tip on Sunday, shortly after 9 a.m. The big blow which prevailed the day bafore sent in a strong ssa, and, wsalpnad a-> shs was before, the little craft could not long hold together. At the hour mantipiiod the force of the waves paused bar to careen to leeward and part amidihips, the forward portion baiiiij driven along the b'-iach to the north before being secured. The two b:>at3 aad all the lighter fittings were riven into matchwood in an incredibly short time, the m\3ts, main boom, and spars were saved by being grappled and hauled asnore. All flotsam is bein 0 > stacked above high-water mark. It is now five weeks since the wreck, and the weather during that time has never, been very rough. Sad the inquiry not b een ?° protracted most of her Would* have been got ashore long since.
