The Federal Contingent
Christohurch, April 18.
There are about forty-five men in camp now at Addington foe the Federal Contingent, and a number of Christchurch men chosen to go have not yet gone into camp. Applications for enrolment are coming in briskly, and the full force of one hundred and twenty men should soon be under canvas. They will probably leave for Sydney on the 26th inst., and it is probable that the Commander of the Forces (Colonel Pole-Penfcon) will arrive in Christenuroh to-day ? to supervise necessary arrangements.
