Brisbabk, April 8, There are two more plague cases. Wellington, April 9,

The Colonial Secretary has given instructions that Sydney and Adelaide are to be declared free of the plague. Vessels arriving in Now Zealand from those ports will now be relieved of the necessity of quarantine. Reports received by the Health Department from Cape Colony confirm the messages in regard to the increase in the number of plague cases in Capetown.
