WAIM4TB STOCiJ SALE. There was a good yarding of sheep at the Wairaate Friday, about 7500 being l , oftf|red a fair atten lance of buyers. There was a healthy tone about the sale throughout, nearly the whole of the entry changing hands at fail prices Good sound ewes and forward-conditioned lambs met with a paiticuiarly good demand. The following are quotations;—2, 4 arid 6*tooth three-quarter-br d ewes, 16s 6J tc 17s 6J ; sound-mouthed three-quarter-bred eweg. Ids 2d to 15s; do, half-bred .ewes, 15s to 15s 7d; full and failing-mouthed ewes, 8s Sd, 9s 6d, 10s 3d, 10s 6d, 11s id; merino ewes (aged), 6s; 2-tooth three-quarter-bred wethers, 15s 7d; good store three-quarter-bred lambs, 12s, 12s 3d, 12s sd, 12s 7d; medihm three-quarter-bred lambs, lls, Xls 3d, lls 6d; halfbred wether lambs, lls 9d; cull lambs, ■6s 7d to Bs. a large entry of rams, about 100 tplbg penqed, bat the majority of them \ere and these met with rather poor competition.
