Wreck of a Schooner.

Melbourne, March 29. There is now little doubt that the schooner Louisa Lament, which left for Launceston on Thursday, has been wrecked.

The police report finding at Gape Wallotnai, Philip Island, a quantity of timber forming a portion of the schooner’s cargo, and a shattered boat.

The evidences are that she has gone to pieces, and there js hardly any probability that the crew, which con. sisted of E. Francis (captain). W, Beid (mate), H. M. Gregory (cook), and J, Billing and A. Firniston (seamen), were saved. The schooner was Insured for J6GOO.
