The entry comprised about 13,090 sheep. Quotations are as fol'ows : —Old ewes. 9s 3d to 12s; sound-mouthed ewes, 13s fid to 15s 9d ; two-tooth ewes, 17s 6d ; fat wethers, 17s ; lambs (small), 10s 44 to 12s .64. The entry of rams comprised about 100. Two-tooth English Leicesters, 3sgs ti ljgs ; half-bred ram, lgn. There was a very fair entry of cattle. Ory cows bro'oghfc. £ 3 169 to £4 12s 64 ; fat, cows, £6 to £6 10s; yearlings, 28s; two-year old steers, £3 to £4 2s 64 ; three-year-old steers, £5 10s to £5 15s ; heifers, £3 2s; springers, £6.
-;?M"Psrs Dalgc'y and Co. have received the following cablegram , dated London, 27fh March : The wool sa'es closed firm, and latelyreported rates are fully maintained. For the bulk of merino wool rrices are on the average 5 per cent, to 10 per cant, high er than closing vaies of tu-t, series. For fine crossbred*, good condition, prices are <in a par with cosing rates.of last series. For faulty fine c"o?shred an 1 for medium and coarse crossbred prices n.re 5 per cent, to 8 per cent,, lower. The total coloni-il wool available for sa!e, including old stocks, was 218.000 bales, of which some 94,000 b-tles havn been so'd for homo consumption, 63,000 bales for the Continent, p.nd 4000 bales for America, leaving 53,000 bales to bo carried forward to the next series.

Quotations for bank shores : Bank of Australasia £7*, Bank of N'ew South Wales £42 10s. Union Bunk £3& Others are unchanged. At the wool R»les a poor selection w;h offered yesterday. Prices wre unchanged. Hthe tallow sales, cadrv were offered and 875 sold, prices for all kinds fieing unchanged.
