Tennis.
To day the return match between the local Tennis Club and the Oamaru Club is to be played on the Waimate courts. The visiting team are leaving Oamaru at 7 a.m. by drug, and should arrive here at about 10 o’clock. Play will commence about 11 o’clock. Both clubs have their strongest teams, and the games should therefore be very interesting. Ample seating accommodation will be provided for visitors, to whom afternoon tea will be dispensed.
