Waimate County Council meets on last Wednesday of the month at 10 a.m. G.V. Cochrane, clerk. Waimate Borough Council meets fourth Monday in month at 7.30 p.m. Waimate Hospital Trustees meet on same day as County Council, in Council Chambers at 2 p.m. G. V. Cochrane, secretary.
Waimate High School Board of Governors meets on third Tuesday in every second month in Courthouse at 7.30 p.m. Waimate Public Library committee meets first Monday in each month at 7.30 p.m. J. E. Dean, secretary. Waimate Loyal Orange Lodge mqett third Thursday in every month at 8 p.m. John Hazleton, secretary.
Waimate Volunteer Fire Brigade moett for business every first Tuesday, and practice every second Tuesday in br month. J. Sinclair, captain.
School Committee meets every thirt Tuesday in each month. \V. M. Hamilton chairman; W. L. Scott, secretary Star Cycling Club committee meet every third Wednesday in 'the month J. W. Manchester, secretary, Waimate Rifles parade at drillshed ever; second and fourth Wednesday at 7.30 p.m T. K. Cocbbuni, croorotiivy.
St Augustine's Lodge (N.Z.C.) meek Wednesday on or before full moon. J Sinclair, secretary.
/ Oddfellows' Lodge meets every alternate Monday at 730 .p.m. J. S. Butcher secretary.
Magistrates' Court sits on alternatiT hursdays at 10 a. m. Constable Parker, clerk of the Court.
Foresters' Lodge—Every alternate Mon day at 7.30 p.m. P. Grant, secretary Juvenile Lodge—Every alternate Monday P. Grant, secretary.
Waimate Horticultural Society meets every third Wednesday in each month Norton Francis, president; W. L. Scott, secretary.
