• ' - - London, Februaiy 26. The’ Daily Express states that Parliament': will Jbe: asked to vote £20,000 to cover the.costof the Duke and Duchess of York’s visit. The cruisers Niobe and Diadem will escort the Ophir to Gibraltar. Sydney, February 26. Mr Chamberlain has cabled to Lord Hopetoun that the time allowed for. the Duke of York’s visit did not quite fall in with the transit arrangements. Consequently his visits to Victoria and New South Wales will have to be curtailed by one day each, and to New Zealand by one or more days, to allow of his arrival and departure on the dates arranged. Wellington, February 26. It is now announced that the Duke and Duchess of York will call at Auckland, then in tarn at Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin. They will .also probably go to Botorua.
