School Sports.
A meeting was held at the ’Waitna'a school yesterday, when an athletic sports association was formed. Officers were elected as under; Patrons, Mayor of Waim.ite (Dr. Barclay), Chairman of the Board of Governors (Rev. Geo. Barclay) and the Chairman of the School Committee (Mr W, M- Hamilton); President, Mr. G. Pitcaithly; Vice-President, Mr T. Laing; Secretary, Mr ,0. J. Goldstone; Committee, Messrs Stewart, Park. Marriott, Clarke. Hayes, J.Park, McPherson, Taylor, Humphries and Buckley. It was decided to hold a -sports meeting in Victoria Park on Thursday, March 7th.
