The Ophir's complement of 450 officer's and men will be commissioned on the 26th iustaut, when the steamer proceeds to Portsmouth to complete preparations for the visit of the Duke and Duchess of York to Australia. The Duke of York has expressed his willingness to fall in with Lord Hopetouu's suggestion to proceed to Brisbane, after leaving Melbourne, arriving there on May 20fch, calling at b-ydney on his return, arriving there on the 27th.
