At Addington to day there were entered 3000 fat sheep, 3000 fat lambs, 10,000 store sheep, 412 cattle and 344 pigs. Fat catde IG4 wre yarded, mostly cow and heifer beef, with a few prime steers. The demand was weaker and there was a decline of Is per 1001 b, the best ruling at from 21s Gd to 23s ; o hers, 17s Gd to 21s ; steers, £G 15s to £8 10s; two prime bu locks, £lO 15s; heifers, £5 15s, £7 12s Gd ; cows, £4 17s Gd, £7 10s and up to £0 5s for extra heavy. Fat sheep.—There were very few good wethers entered, the majority being unfinished sorts, and there wa s a weaker demand. Heavy weights, 20s 4d to 21s; freezers, 18s to Ills; light and unfi ished, for grazing, IGs to 17a Gd. There were too many ewes and the market was irregular, with a decline for all sorts. Best, IGs to 18s pothers, 12s to 15s Gd ; prime merino wethers, 15s Gd to 15s lid ; and poor sorts 10s id. Store sheep Mostly wethers and lambs. Except for good young sheep, which about held their own, there was a decided decline, but the bulk of the yarding chnngodhands. Forward wethers, 15s 3d to 16s 7d ; backward, 13s 8d to los Id; good young ewes 10«. Id to 18s 6d; sound, 16s 7d, 16s Id ; aged, including Chatham Islanders, 5s 9d, 9s 3d; lambs, 9s lid to 12s 6dPigs—There was a medium supply, and fata were slightly easier. Baconers 33s to 42s 6d ; extra heavy, to 52s Sd, equal to 34d per lb; porkers,2os to 32s Gd, equal to 3|d per lb; stores were in good demand at Iss Gd to 245; suckers and weaners, 6s to 13s Gd.
