Waimate High School Board of Governors meets on third Tuesday in every second month in Courthouse at 7.30 p.m. Waimate Public Library committee meets first Monday in each month at 7.30 p.m. J. H. Dean, secretary. Waimate Loyal Orange Lodge meets third Thursday in every month at 8 p.m. John Hazleton, secratary. Waimate Volunteer Fire Brigade meets for business every first Tuesday, and practice every second Tuesday in he month. J. Sinclair, captain.
School Committee meets every third Tuesday in each month. W. M. Hamilton, chairman; W. L. Scott, secretary
Star Cycling Club committee meets every third Wednesday in month J. W. Manchester, secretary.
Waimate Rifles parade at drillshed every second and fourth Wednesday at 7.30 p.m. T. K. Cockburn, secretary.
