Wirth's Circus.
Tho above showed in Waimate on Tuesday evening to a large audience, the mammoth tent being well filled. The heavy rain rather iirurfered with the performance as the tent was not exactly watertight. All the ye? formers acquitted themselves creditably, and the performing animals showed a highly Gained state of efficiency. Much amusement was caused by the efforts of two S.M.R. troopers to ride the famous bucking, elephant, whose •'bumping" tactics proved too many for the " swaddies."
