The Waimate Rifles paraded last evening, forty strong* under Lioutpitiahte Htirst and Jackeon. Lieutenant-Colonel Bailey was present and inspected the company, after which the corps was piit through company movements by L'ieuts. Hurst antl Jackson, and manual , filing andbayonet exercises by the noncoms. Sorgfc. Smtth was presented with B, nine years' service star. Four members were elected and one proposed. f
