Hospital Board.
The above Board held its usual fmonthiy meeting yesterday, -Messrs Sinclair (chato), Douglas,'. "Walker, Rosa, lukster, Atwill and - STai-die being present. The return of patients showed «3 mules and 4 males under treatment at last meeting, '4 males and •5 females" admitted during the month, 2 males and 4 females, discharged, and 1 male and 1 female died, leaving 4 males and" 4 females- now -under ' treatment. The Matron reported receiving '-£7 from patients during "the, nnonth. J , Mr In&Eftefr, for the visitors, reipoited everything satisfactory 'except'that the recent rain had, 'come thT'OUgh the roof of the' men's ward -and the operating' 4oom. Messrs'Hardie and Jones were' 'appointed -visitors for the ensuing 'month. Mr Walker mentioned that a of septsecenfia had occurred in Tiniaru, recently, and had cost the Hospital "Board over £100, Rowing to not being able 'to tre^t 'the case in the institution, 1 would like'to'know wUlfct I !V^Siimate -Hospital would" do in such'a case. Dr Barclay is~to be nsked to 'report to next meeting. Thre passing 6f accounts for 12s 7d ended the bufiinssg, ; and the Board rose.
