THE MAYOR AND BOROUGH COUNCIL.
! .* *£Q SHE EDITOE. I Sir, — Having rsad your report !of the meeting last Momlay, .t ' decidedly agree with His Worship and hope he will sticks to his <3olotirs to the end, which I ■firmly believe is fche^vish of the majority of the Ratepayers in the Borough. lam proud of the. stand the Mayor is taking in matters municipal. It % an old saying, that good thiags are done up ia small parcels, I think we must admit this in fh& ..present* case of the chief tHagfst'rate of the' town. The remark Councillor Coltman made as his last shot when leaving the meeting so abruptly and ungentlemanly with Councillors Cameron, Inkster, Jones and" Mann^ scores Against the whole five in public estimation of, their ifjfoess as members of the' Council. I -am .sure Dr. Barclay is more -^qualified for the ornise' than Councillor Ooltman, He i&' no- darnmy and can bold his own with any of them. I hope he carries .the Town Hall scheme.—rlam, etc, Fair Play.
