NOTICE OF MAKING -BY-LAW.
"PUBLIC NOTIGE is hereby given } th*fc a Meeting of the Waiaiate Borough Council will 'be held on WEDNESDAY, the -26th day of SEPTEMBEIVI9OO, at the Waimate Borough Council Chamber's, at 7 7.30' p.m., to confirm a resolution passed and adopted at'a Speoial Meeting of the safer Council' held oil the "^7th"day
of AUGUST, 1900, to raake-a^By-W for the "Borou-gh of '•WAliaiAte, 1 tinder the •provisions of the" Muni6ipal'Cor-! porations Act, 1886," tocome irttoforcei on the 9th day of OCTOBER, 1900,j the objects or "purport whereof are as follows->--To repeal By-law 'Nto. XIV of the' Borough of Waimate, dated
the 14th MAY, 1888. To definp'divisions of the Borough,' to be called the "inner area "
and " ©ufcer area," respec-
tively. To regulate and control and prescribe conditions in regard to the building, erection, making, adding to, altering, removing, and repairing, "within the said •'inner area" and "outer area," respectively, of "buildings, parts of buildings, chimneys, ovens, furnaces, stoves, -celtes, Btables, closets, sheds, outhouses, cesspits, and cesspools and other things of a similar nature, and generally dealing with matters in respect thereto, in regard to which the said Council are empowered to make Bylaws under section 422 of said Act, and providing penalties for the breach of fhs said By-law. A copy of the said proposed By law is deposited at the said Borough' Council Chambers, and shall be OPEN for INSPECTION of the Public during' office hours from the date here of nntil> the day of holding the said meeting.
