NOTICE OF MAKING BY-LAW.

"pUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that a Meeting of the Waimate Borough Council will he held on WEDNESDAY, ihe 26th day of SEPTEMBER, 1900, at ±he Waimate Borough Council Chambers, at 7.30 p.m., to confirm a resolution passed and adopted afe a Special Meeting of the said Council held on the 27th day of AUGUST, 1900, to, make a By-law for the Borough of Waimate, under the provisions of the 1 * Municipal Corporations Act, 1886," tocome intoforce on the 9th day of OCTOBER, 1900, the objectsor purport whereof are as follows : — To repeal By-law No. XIV of the Borough of Waimato, dated the 14th MAY, 1888. To define divisions of the Borough, to be called the " inner area " and " outer area," respec-

tively. A copy of the said proposed By-law is deposited at the said Borough Council Chambers, and shall be OPEN for INSPECTION of the Public during office hours from the date here of until the day of holding the said meeting.
