NOTICE OF MAKING BY-LAW.
"pUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that a Meeting of the Waimate Borough Council will he held on WEDNESDAY, ihe 26th day of SEPTEMBER, 1900, at ±he Waimate Borough Council Chambers, at 7.30 p.m., to confirm a resolution passed and adopted afe a Special Meeting of the said Council held on the 27th day of AUGUST, 1900, to, make a By-law for the Borough of Waimate, under the provisions of the 1 * Municipal Corporations Act, 1886," tocome intoforce on the 9th day of OCTOBER, 1900, the objectsor purport whereof are as follows : — To repeal By-law No. XIV of the Borough of Waimato, dated the 14th MAY, 1888. To define divisions of the Borough, to be called the " inner area " and " outer area," respec-
tively. To regulate and control and prescribe conditions I in regard to the building, { erection, nmking, adding to, | /Vlterfng, 'removing, and re|Rirpig, withinj^tnV said \ inper afea^^and " outer area," respwtively^of buildin®, jms of build||a(^chimnejftjf ovens, f|t^b^3^, sto^S; cellars, |tobl^|#ajKseli»fsheds, outhouB|s| cesspits; and oess- / pools attof otj*ei* things of a V / similar nai?d^e, and generally »P\ / dealing^with matters in rea / spect thereto, in regard to which the said Council are empowered to make By-laws under section 422 of said Act, and providing penalties for the breach of the said By-law. A copy of the said proposed By-law is deposited at the said Borough Council Chambers, and shall be OPEN for INSPECTION of the Public during office hours from the date here of until the day of holding the said meeting.
