In store and dairy cattle there war a good -yarding, and a better domand foi all sots. All classes met a good denmnd, but in many cases holdeis idens of value weie too hi^h to allow business being done. Wethers sold at 15s 5d ; Rood young ewes, 16s to 16s 9d ; aged, 10s 7<l to 12s ]0d; merino ewes tind lambs, 9s 2d ; hoggets, 13s 2.1 to 15s 43. Pig?, — The pigs weie composed principally of Tat s.»rfcs, which sold at late rates ; baronpva at 32s to 41b 6rl ; pork°rg, 20s to 28& 'id ; stores 10s to 17s ; and suckers and woaners at Gs 6d to 9s. Wheat.— There is no change to report Quotations are— prime milling 2s GO. to 23 iy\ ; medium to good, 2a 2d to 2s 5d ; fowl feed whole, 2s to 2s Id ; broken, Is 9d to 1& lid ; sacks in. Oats.— A brisk demand has been expeiienced for all short piime good feed suitable for shipping Other sorts do not receive the attention, except in small quantities for feed purposes. Piime milling is quoted at lls 9^l to Is lOd ; good to best feed, Is 8d to Is B}d ; medium Is Rd to Is 7d ; .sacks extra.
