HOW TO PACK. A book packet may be posted pithei without a cover (in which case it nm t not be fastened in any way) o\ m a covei entirely open at one or both ends, it may be tied at the ends with stiing, but the .string must be easy to unfasten.
LIMITS OF SIZE AND WJ IGIIT. The limits of < ize for book-packets are 18m. in any direction. If made up in tne tons, oi a roll, a packet may meaauve u^j to 2ft. 6in. in length and 4in in diameter ; the weight must not exceed 4Lb.

BBGIBTKITION. The fee for all plains is 3d. The Bendw of a registeied article mj.y obtain an acknowledgement of its due receipt by - the addreteee on payment, at tho time of posting of the aiticle, of an " acknowiedg merit fee" of twopence halfpenny, in addition to the ordinary registration tee. Any letter, letter caid, post card, book. or other packet, newspaper, or inland parcel will be accepted for registration Parcels for places beyond the colony cannot be re^ifiteied.
