Prince Chingis trying io induce the Empress to do nothing to provoke the intervention of European Powers. The Tsung -li - Yamen has .promised to consider the oiler made Jby .Russia to supply troops to suppress the Boxers disorder, which is daily becoming more serious. A party of Oosoacks, while searching for refugees, had a sharp snonmter with the Boxers. An othcer and three of Cossacks were voanded. Thirteen of the Chinese "weie killed and many wounded.
