Donald Eeid and Co. report that pi ices ruled au under at their auction bale o 'Say :—: — Oats. — O'>r catalogue was composed of medium to t;ood feed loti. Theie was a fair attendance of buyois, hut bidding was not keen and many of the lots on offer were passpd in. We quote : JPnme milling, Is 8d to Is 9d ; gooM to best feed, 1& 6d to Is 7d ; medium and inferioi , Is 5d to Is 6d per bushel (sacks extia). Wheat. — We offerea a quantity of brokmi and seconds, for whiou theie was' no demand, and sold beat whole fowl wheat as Is lid to 2s per bushel (sacks in). Potatoes. — The mmket is heavily supplied, and a poor demand was experienced to-day, best Derwents leahsing only £2 per ton (sacks in). Chaff. —We catalogued a quantity of medium, winch is entuely out ot mquest, in moat case& no offei being leceived. Prune quality is sc.aice andiendily placed. Wg quote: Good to pume, ill 7s (id to £2 15s ; medium, £2 to £2 5s per ton (bags extia).
