WAIMATE SALE.
At the above sale yesterday there was an entry of about 1800 keep of all classes and a fair attendance of buyers. Fat sheep sold at late quotations, but stores were not in great demand. A number of lets, consisting of three quarter-bred ewes, six and ejght-tooth ewes, and fat ivet&ns, were passed in, the bids not reaching the owners' reserves.
