WAIMATE SALE.
At the above sale yesterday there was an entry of about 1800 keep of all classes and a fair attendance of buyers. Fat sheep sold at late quotations, but stores were not in great demand. A number of lets, consisting of three quarter-bred ewes, six and ejght-tooth ewes, and fat ivet&ns, were passed in, the bids not reaching the owners' reserves. Three-quarter-brecl ewes inlaml, 10s Id; half-bied ew.g 10s to 10s 44 ; fat wethers, los 8d to 17s 6d • fat lambs, lls id; medium, 9fl id. '
