April 30. It is hoped that the Commonwealth Bill will be introduced on tWth.
Brisbane, April 30. Mr Philip approves of Mr Dicksons action in refusing to sign the delegate's second memorandum to Mr Chamberlain.. He considered that Mr Barton and Mr Deakin are assuming an uncompromising attitude ; that they have misunderstood the object of their mission, and are acting without authority. Sir Samuel Griffiths also approves.
