Donald Beid and Co., Limited, report that prices ruled as under at their auction sale to-day :—: — Oats — Our catalogue was made up chiefly of medium lots, the attendance of buyers was small, as competition was weak; most of those on offer were passed iti. We quote prime milling, Is lOd to Is lid ; good to best feep,' Is 9d to Is J|d ; medium, Is 8d to Is B£d per bushel (sacks extra). Wheat — Prime milling samples of all ports are in request at late values. Medium quality is not wanted, and fowl wheat is offering freely at late quotations. We quote prime milling, 2s "5d to 2s 6d ; medium, 2s 1 d to 2s 4d ; whole fowl wheat, Is lid to 2s ; broken, etc., Is 9d to Is lOd per bushel (sacks in). Potatoes — The .prices have again declined. We quote best dements, £2 5s Od to £2 7s 6d ; others, £2 to £2 2s 6d per ton (sacks in). Chaff — Prime oaten sheaf is arrh ing slowly and meets with ready sale. Medium quality is fairly plentiful, and is more difficult to quit. We quote best oaten sheaf, £3 to £3 2s 6d ; good, £2 15s to £3 ; medium, 422 5s to £% 12s 6d per ton (bags extra).
