"I know it," returned 'the speculator complacently. " And when I told you to sell it waa 116." " That's right." " Then I can't see how you make yourself out a winner." " Thac's because you don'-t know 'me as 'well as I know •myself. J've got the stock now. haven't I ?" " Yea." " And it's worth 56 ?" • "Yes.", "Well, then, I'm juet that much, ahead. I tell you I was tempted to sell when it was 116, but 1 wag able to resist the temptation." " But if you -had sold, -think what you would have now.J " ".Not a cent," returned the speculator, promptly. " I .would have started oat to C3lebrtfte, gn& it would have gone in twentyfour hours. I would »bo broke now. Oh, I know when I'm a winner.''
