A summoned meeting of the Oddfellows was held last evening, Bro. A, Jacksou, N.G., presiding over a good muster of members. Correspondence was received from Lyttelton, Ashbm*ton, Odmaru., Tiraaru, and Dunedin Lodges, and balance-sheets from the other lodges in tha district. The sick visitors' report showed that one member \va& on the funds. Sick pay for £'6 4s and one funeral levy v.e^a parsed. Three candidates were iuituwd mto tha order Bro. A. Mines, an old member of the Waimatu Lodge, a,nd now of Good Intent Lodge, Auckland, vibited the Lodge. In responding to the first sautiment, he advised young members to " stick " to the Lodge and w hen they visited other towns to look up other Oddfellows. 'I he secretary presented the annual balance sheet and the auditors' report. The sick and funeral fjnd showed a credit balance of JC6-47, and the other funds also showed ar» increase. The membership of the Lodge showed a very substantial increase during the year. Voles of thanks were pa.s.sed to the secretary and treasurer. Accounts for £17 15s 4d were passed for payment. Receipts of the evening were £9 17a The first, second, and third fauntuueut-3 were proposed by Bros. H. Watts. J. Sullivan, and G. Evans, and .jspondcd to Bro. A. Mines. The Lodge cloyed in harmony at 9 45 i>.m.
