Messrs Donald 'Reid and Co. report that prices ruled as under at their auction sal© today :—: — Oat".— We offered a quantity of medium to good feed oats, and under fair competition cleared the catalogue at quotations. The demand for export is strong and we have enquiiy for la>ge lines of good to piinie ppairowbills. We quote: Prime milling, 2s Id to 2s ljd ; good to best feed 2s to 2s Oijjd ; medium to good, Is lOd to la lid per bushel (sacks extra). "Wheat — Tuscan is mort saleable at 2s fid to 2s Cd per bushel. Medium quality is almost neglected. Whole fowl wheat, 2s to 2s 2<l ; broken, Is 9<l to 1b lid per b shel (sacks in). Potatoes. — The market is well supplied. Fresh kidneys are woith £3 5s to £3 10s; others, £2 15s to £3 per ton (sacks in). Chaff. — Heavy supplies came forward for to day's sale. We submitted thirteen trucks, nearly all good to prime quality which met with fait competition at prices about 10a to 15s per ton below last week's rates. Best oaten aheaf sold at £3 to £3 5s 6d ; medium to good £2 10s to £2! 15s pea ton (sacks extia). x
