Auckland, Jan. 16. At a meeting of the New Zealand Cricket Council a telegram was read from Major Wardill that the Viotoiian Team would leave Sydney by the Mararoa on Februaiy 7th, Telegiams and letters wore received from Wellington, Canterbury, Otago, Wanganui and Auckland Associations guaranteeing £50 each towards the expenses of the Victorian team. Hawke's Bay wrote regietting that it could only guarantee £30.
