The following gentlemen were elected us a committee 01 management : Messrs 3. L. Thomas (chairman), A. Fames, J. E. Carter, A. Keen, F. Ghilrts, junr., J. Lange, and T. Wilson (secietaiy and tieasuter). Mi Meeli.m has kindly giv-n the use of hifi large grain store f'oj the evening. Oireib orfiee advertising fioni the Morning Post and adveitihingand printing from the Wai mute Advertiser were received and accepted. A number of Waimate ladies and gentlemen have promised to -assist with the programme. Judging from the manner in which the matter is being taken up, a substantial increase in the fund should be the result. The crcps, on the whole, are very good and I do not think the " cookies" will have any cause to complain of the yield. [ am sorry to have to repoH that Mif-s Bourne is still undei medical treatment at Waimate, but glad to note that she ib now on the road to recovery.
