Christchdech, Jan. 10. The entiies of stock at Addington today were good, and satisfactory business v,as done in most classes. In fat cattle the iange of piices was— steers £5 to £8 6s ; heifeis£4 to £7. Cous £3 12s Gd to £8 ss. Best beef realised 19s per 100!bs ; medium to good Us to 17s, and cow andMnfeiior, 12s Daiiy cattle sold fairly well, the top price being £6. Not much business was done in stoic cattle. Eighteen months old steers brought £2 10s ; two-year-old £3 10s ; and eighteen months old heifeis £2 4s, The entry of fat sheep was rather mixed, ewes predominating, and freezing lines being but poorly represented. Best cross, bied wethers brought 13s 6d to 15s 5d ; bestjewes 12^ to 13s 9d ; lighter soits] 9s 6d to 11s 9d. Merino wethers, 10s 5d to Us 6d ; fat lambs sold well, freezing I lines bunging 12s to los lOd, and butchers' 1 lots, 10s 8d to 11s 9d, and up to 14s. Extia prime stoic sheep mefra good demand four tooth wethers making 13s to 13s lOd . two tooth, 12-i 7d ; lambs, 9s to 11s Id! Pigs brought the following puces : - Bacouers 30s to 30s 6d, or 3d per lb. . poikeia 21s 6d to 325, or 3£d to 4d per lb : stoics, 15s to 225; weaneis, 11s to 14s: euckeis, 8s to 10s. The wheat maiket remains as dull as ever, the lest price going for prime being 2s 6d to 2s 7d ; medium 2b 4d, and good fowl feed 2s Id.
