Messrs Guinness and Le Cren report yarding yesterday 5000 sheep* 20 head of cattle and 20 pigs. Prices ruled as under :—: — Sheep. — Prime fat wetheus and maiden ewes (small pen) 16s 2d ; butcher's ewes, 12s; 4-tooth turnipers. 12s ; 4, 6, and Btooth f bred ewes in lamb, lls 8d ; f.m. fbred ewes in lamb, 12s 5d J-bred dtf&s in lamb, 12s 7d ; f bred hoggets from 9s 8d to 11s lOi; |bred 'hoggets, 10s 6d. Cattle.— Fat heifers, £3 17s 6d ; springers, JG4 10s to £s*; 3 year store heifers £3 6s. Pigs. — Baconers, £2 : stores, £1 3s to £1 12s.
