Evidence was '^mw by Constable Parker and Mary YinJH, and defendant was fined £5 and police asked for an order to send jMwgeand Kate Vincent, aged 7 yeais Sd 18 months respectively, ta the IndusSil School, and they were committed till |Ky leached the age of 15. «~ civil cases. MJ'Kenzie v. Fotheiingham. No apjMiiance of defendant, and judgment ■is given by default with costs 15s 6d. ■Guvi. J. M'Carthy, claim £7 8s 6d. Hr Hamilton for plaintiff. No appearHce of defendant. Judgment for amount Bth costs 15. ■P. Eeid v. Nicholas Kane, claim £1 15s Be service of mare, and 16s money lent, ■r Hamilton for plaintiff, Mr Clement for Bfendant, who pleaded not indebted, exBpt 6s money lent, which was paid into ■ourt. Atter hearing evidence by plainly defendant, .Q-. BSine, and 0. Oornemm, judgment was given for defendant, Kith costs 11s, solicitor's fee £1 1». A Bon suit was accepted with regard to the I Qainn v. Russell. This was an applilation made by Mr Hamilton, for an older lor die lefund of docket money wrongly paid, but His Worship did not see his way lo grant the order. I Judgment was given in the case Milsom Iv. Fleraing, a claim for the recovery of K26 14s 3d. .Plaintiff pm chased kegs phich weie considerably over the size lordeied, and supplied beer in them unjttiowmgly. When he did discover the I error, he had supplied 201 gallons extra, thus losing £22 12s 3d, and the repairs cost him £3 12s. The Magistrate did not think it was a duty devolving on Mr ; Milsom to measuie tbe kegs. The loss should be actual loss without the profit, or Is per gallon and the labour. Judgment uas foi plaintiff, £10- Is, labour £3 12s, and costs £3 ss. Mi Clement, counsel for defendant, gave notice of appeal.
