Messrs Donald Reid and Co. report tluit puces ruled as uuder at their auction sale to day :— Oats. — We offered a moderate catalogue of fair to good feed oats. The attendance of buyers was smaller than usual and under weak competition the bulk of the lots offered were passed. We quote prime milling Is 4^d to Is Bid, good to best feod 1& 3d to Is 4d, inferior to medium Is Id to Is 2-^-d per bushel, sacks extra. Wheat.— The market for prime milling quality is unchanged and all choice lots find buyers at late quotations. Medium quality is not in strong demand but towi wheat received more attention and sells at for good whole wheat Is lOd to 2s, broken and damaged Is tfd to Is 9d per bushel. Potatoes. — The market continues .to be over-supplied and all sorts ate difficult to quit at late quotations. We quote best Derwents 27s 6d to 30s, others to 22s per ton, sacks in. Chaff. — The only class in favour with buyers is prime oaten sheaf. Medium quality is neglected, and cannot be quitted, except at extiemely low prices. We quote best oaten sheaf £2 2s 6d to -C 2 ss, medium £1 10s to £1 15s, bags extra.
