The great feature of this mill is the working parts of the engine, which are composed of heavy castings, but \et aie evtremely light in draught. Another \eiy good point is that long bearings are used which will, especially in the uiani shaft, reduce the friction to a minimum. The null cm be regulated so as to blow itself out in auy gale. For instance, when a gale is blowing 12 or 15 miles an hour the vane oi tail comes up to the wind and a self adjusting break grips and keeps the fans stationary. The pumping capacity of this mill is from 800 to 1000 gallons per 8 hours. The erection was made by two of Messrs Booth McDonald and Co's experts, Messrs Whyte and Brown, who have carried out the work entirely to the satisfaction of Mr Middleton. Fanners and others desirous of haung a really firstclass mill (apart from the gracefulness ; of the structure) will do well to inspect thi one befoie deciding to purchase.
