The following is the team to play against Waihi in Victoria Park to-day -.—Carpenter, Smart, Mines, Stewart, Thomas, Gleudinning, Presland, ' Williams, Law lor, Aitken, Berry, Rattray (Captain) Goldstone, Butcher and Flaherty. Emergencies :—Richard, Rattray, Goldstone, Ellen. Play will commence at 12.30, and a collection box will be found at the gate to enable supporters of the club to shew their good will in a tangible form. With fine weather an exciting game should be seen. In the last three seasons out of five matches, Waihi have won three, and Waimate two the scores being Waihi 20 points, Waimate 16. How will it be after to-day c The English Footballers won their first match by 11 to 3. They are reported to have formidable backs and effective dribbling forwards, but they play conriderably offside. They should have an easy task to win most if not all their mntohps.
