Sir,— Seeing that it is openly asserted in the press and elsewhere that', there has been a great increase, in the. private causumpiiou of alcoholic liquors, in the Clutha, we, the undersigned, representing the several districts of tha electorate, declare that we have no knowledge whatever of an)' increase in the private consumption o£ alcoholin liquors or of any growth in the habit ot keeping such liquors in ihe house, since No Licen&e was established in th© Clutha.
