STUDHOLME JUNCTION SALE.
Messrs Guinness and LeCren (per D. P. M'Lean, agent) report that at this sale yesterpay there was an entry of about 3000 sheep and' 140 head of, cattle. A fair nutnber_ o£ freezing sheep came forward but with the exception of lambs the demand fell short of expectations. However, taiken all round the sale was a fair one, and nearly all the entries changed hands at late market rates. Good breeding ewes were in demand, but the .-supply did not fill requirements. , Sheep-^Prune Freezers 15s to 17s 6d; freezing" lambs 12s Id to 14s Id ; store lambs 6s to lls lid according to quality ; store wethers 10s 6d to 13s ; empty ewes, % good mouths and in fair condition, 10s 6d; full-mouthed \ -bred ewes in lamb, lls lid. - Cattle.— Ffet steers £i 10s to JSS ss ; fat heifers .£3 lls to .£4 15s ,: fat cows £3 to £4 10s ; springers 33s to JE4 ' milch cows £1 10s to .£3 IBs ; ! other sorts 18s to £B according to age and quality. - '
